Television Station CTV10 Records Meetings
|
Town Council Meetings
are held on the third Wednesday of each month at 7:30 P.M. at the River
Bend Town Hall. Meetings are recorded for television by CTV10 and
are aired on the Thursday following the meeting at 12:30 PM and again at
8:00 PM. |

January 21, 2004
Doris Pfeiffer (left) presented a
certificate from the VFW to Mayor John Kirkland in recognition for the
Town's participation in the collection of personal supplies which were sent to
the troops overseas.
The collection of personal supplies is to be continued. This was followed by an
appeal by the children of Springdale for playground equipment. The
Presentation was made by Jessica Mercer, Magen and Lisa Downing.
(right)- The Mayor thanked the group for their presentaion and promised that the
Council would give serious consideration to their request.
Gregory S. Adams, CPA (below) of Thompson, Price,
Scott, Adams & Co. presented
the
annual audit report which was favorable. He thanked the staff for their
cooperation and efficiency. Councilman Paul Kammer commended
Margaret Boggs, (lower right) Finance Administrator, for
the efficient manner in which she maintained the River Bend finance records
during the year.
The balance of the meeting
included department reports, and a number of ordinance amendments.
