Anthurium

Flamingo Flower "aka" Cotton Candy

Araceae

Temperature - average temps but it will tolerate high temps

Fertilize - 3 times during the summer with a 10-30-10 fertilizer

Pests - mites can be a problem if the humidity is low... sometimes aphids can be a problem

Repotting - repot when stems begin crowding the pot and it is hard to watter... use a mix of half standard potting mix and half epiphyte mix... good drainage is a must

Propagation - division, rooted side shoots, or by seed

Tips -keep this plant out of drafty areas and out of high traffic areas because the leaves and flowers are easily damaged... prune only as needed to remove old leaves
