The sap in this plant can be used to treat wounds.... most known for being used on burns.
Moisture - allow soil to dry out between soakings. Do not let it sit in water
Light - As much as possible. Direct sunlight is fine.
Temperature - average temps are best. Hot or cool temps do not have any adverse affectsawn rot
Repotting - Only when the roots are pushing their way out of the bottom of the pot. Use a cactus mix
Propagation - by offsets, division and seed... offsets is the easiest method
Tips - place it where it will not snag clothing as you walk by with it's teeth... only prune to remove damaged or faded leaves
Toxic Part: Latex beneath the skin. Symptoms: Vomiting after ingestion.
