Native to Sout China and Australia it is a perfect plant for hanging baskets. It is sometimes called honey plant because the flowers are fragrant with a honeylike nectar

Moisture - allow soil to dry to 1/2 inches below the surface between waterings during the growth period.... do not let it completely dry out during it's winter rest... humidity encourages flowers

Light - medium to bright filtered light ... direct sun encourages flowering

Temperature - average temps... avoid cold drafts

Fertilize - 3 times during the summer with a 10-30-10 solution

Pests - keep an eye out mealybugs, scales especially when blooming

Repotting - has minimal root system... repot infrequently as it is usually a shock to the plant... use average well drained mix

Propagation - stem cuttings... set them in coarse vermiculite and pearlite

Tips - easily trained on support wires... do not remove flower stems after blooming.... prune only as necessary to keep stems from being too heavy... they have a milky sap...
